How 'bout you folks come play at the Narrows in Fall River, MA(right off rt195, next to the Braga Bridge)? Waybacks, Infamous Stringdusters, Crooked Still, Tim O, just to name a bunch who play here. Nice, friendly venue staff; appreciative audience.
Love your music. 'Padelmike' turned me on. Hope you can come up sometime.

Hey really appreciated meeting you all at the 4 sisters wine festival this past weekend. Great music. Thanks for enjoying and promoting the coffee. Just an update. I had an art school but shut it down, with the closing a year ago of my coffee pub in Belvidere, NJ, essentially being forced out, but, I have been holding onto a non profit arts organization waiting for the right elements and people to happen. Just wanted to let you all know that this past week I have been approached by a property benefactor, making it possible for the development of a fine arts center. It is on the same road, not far from the winery. As things progress, I hope to have you all come up and play, possibly for one of our events for the arts. See what happens. Take care.

You were amazing at the Eight Great Tuesday concert in Erie, PA . We do not often get this kind of music- melodic- folk-jam- jazz or whatever you like to call it, but it was great!. The only bad parts were that the mix was too bass heavy and the windy conditions off Presque Isle Pay, but all 3 acts were bassy. Come again to NW PA. Thanks

Just got your message on MySpace. Thanks for the friendship and the offer of a CD in exchange for my passing the word about y'all. My mailing address: Bill Davis, RR#1, Box 267, Hoboken, GA 31542. Incidently, I do have a few boats...three canoes and a coupla kayaks, but no boatdock. ha! I used to work at the Okefenokee Swamp Park, and would answer the phone: "boatdock, Bill speaking", therefore the nickname. Again, I really enjoyed your performances at SuwanneeSpringfest!

Strange path led me here but glad it did.
Help a band called Ubiquitone, who played with a band called Laidback, who sent me an email about them being on a list at Jambands.com, which Boris Garcia happened to be #10 on (#11 and I don't go further, I look for Boris on emusic, I find listen and like, I come here.
I also happened to have grown up in suburban Philly, but the band wants to play in Virginia let me know. I can recommend place.
Thanks for the sounds.

Hey ya'll:
I heard youse guys were playin' (via Jefferson Berry) at the Fest last year. So, sorry that I am just inadvertently getting around to landing on ya'll's Site. I Also, gotta say I am totally bummed that I've missed out on hearing you guys thus far. And, had no idea that not only do you have Bud the most amazing of mandolin players from The Philly Fest and Falcoln Ridge Fest campgrounds and beyond, yet you've got that Dead Jam extraordinaire Bob from the Living Earth fame as well! Wow!
Thank you in advance for reminding me that there's some really great cool mixed-genre dance music locally that's worth getting a babysitter to come-out and give a listen as well as dance to.
Bless you,
Colleen

This particular Boris Garcia/ Little Feat show at Penn's Peak was one of the best live performances I can recall. I was very impressed by Boris Garcia's music, stage presence and the fact they hung around after their set talking, taking pictures and in general just being really nice guys. With Dennis M. behind these guys, they have a very bright future.

Hi there -
Just wanted to say we went to your CD release party at the World Cafe Live and it was great! We are friends of Ben Arnold, so we went to catch his set, and we were blown away by Boris Garcia. You guys sound amazing, it's so nice to hear REAL music. My husband is in a local band, and was a Living Earth fan, and we were so refreshed to be at a show hearing professional-sounding, tight, authentic tunes. Mother's Finest is now in constant rotation in my car. Can't make it on Friday, so have a great show. Steel City is a cool place.

My son, Jake, had to work folk fest weekend so we went to see you at the World Cafe Saturday night. He loved you guys.I can't get him to stop singing Whiskey Canadian. It's pretty cool when a 15 year old and a 50 year old can enjoy the same music. We also made friends on the train ride home with Manny & Roz from Baltimore who were at the show also. Good people. Great show. I'm looking forward to the third CD. Keep um comming.

I work at Rometta Salon and Spa in Elkins Park, Pa. where I cut Stephe Ferraro's daughters' hair. It was there that I heard about the Mother's Finest release party at Philadelphia's World Cafe Live, on Nov.4,2006. My husband, Chris, and I went and found out what a small world it really is. Chris recognized a man in the crowd who turned out to be Jim O'Connor. You have come a long way from Jim's basement party and the Mermaid Inn...and what a long strange trip I'm sure it's been. You're all fantastic musicians. I wish you all THE BEST OF LUCK. Lisa Stevenson

Thank you so much for turning us on to your wonderful music! John did the sound at the recent Ojai Music Fest and I was his "assistant". The highlight of the weekend was capping it off at "The Hub" to enjoy your tunes! We send you our best while on tour and will certainly do our part to share your music with our friends & clients. We are purchasing your 2 CDs so John can play them during band breaks at the various gigs he does! We'll be sure and put your name out there!
